I’m much more than an expert financial advisor. I’ve lived through my own divorce — I understand your issues and anxieties. I am here to help you navigate this life-changing experience and prepare for your future.
About Financially Strong

Founded by Fabienne Swartz, Financially Strong is an independent financial planning firm. Its mission is to empower women to understand and navigate the financial issues involved in divorce, negotiate a financially sound settlement and plan for their future. Our goal is to empower clients with an uncomplicated compilation of data coupled with an informed yet compassionate analysis of strategies for moving forward. Each action plan is tailored to fit a client’s situation and meet her individual needs but our goal is always the same: arm our client and her lawyer with all the information they will need to win a financially sound settlement and help every client achieve financial independence.

My Story

After a successful career practicing Family and Estate Law in Belgium, I emigrated to the United States, got married and became a stay-at-home Mom. Thirteen years later, my marriage ended and I was involved in a complicated divorce. Suddenly, I needed to produce a seemingly endless list of financial documents that would determine the value of my settlement. My professional training enabled me to produce these documents knowledgeably and efficiently. Most importantly, because of my legal and financial expertise, I was able to understand and feel in control of the divorce process and negotiate the best possible financial settlement. Most women going through a divorce do not have my training and do not feel in control of the process.

Knowledge is power, and understanding your finances and building for your future will make you stronger, reduce your stress and empower you with the tools you need to become financially independent.
